HIWOT Import and Export (HWIMPEX) is registered under Ethiopian Commercial and Business Licensing Proclamation No 1150/2019 with license registration number AM/AWI/EGBCT/1/0000225/2006 (Tin Number 0017498545) based at Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Our company established as Sole Enterprise Company owned by a visionary person with total paid-up capital of Birr 5 Million at start-up in 2006 E.C.
Beside the import-export business, our company engaged in Hotel and Transport Service sectors. Our company has Three Star Hotel in Amhara Regional State in Awi Zone and also owns more than 20 Cross-Border Dry Transport Truckers, 10 Public Transport Buses and 15 Liquid Transport Trucks. Our company owned commercial farm land for growing agricultural products for Export purpose and with a goal to be reliable and trusted partner in international trading with three main Business Pillars IMPORT, EXPORT and SERVICE SECTOR.
Our company engaged in exporting different agricultural commodities mainly Green Coffee Bean, Processed Coffee Products (Roasted Coffee and Grinded Coffee), Fruit and Vegetable, Oil Seed (Sesame Seed, Nigger Seed and Caster Seed), Processed Oil Seed (Hulled Sesame, Hulled-Roasted Sesame, and Tahini), Cereals and Pulse (Soybeans, GMB, RKB, WKB, Faba Beans), Spies Products (Turmeric, Black Cumin, White Cumin).
Although, our company imports Vehicles, Spare Parts, Regulatory Equipment’s, Jewelry/Decor Supplies, Industrial, Agricultural and Construction Machineries, and other related works, Metallic and Non-Metallic Material and Scrap, Industrial Raw Material and Inputs.

- Be a leading importer of Industrial Raw Materials and Chemicals, Metallic and Non-Metallic Materials and Scraps and covering 10% of the market share nationwide with annual sales value of 2.5 billion birr by 2027.
- Provide high quality modern Vehicles, Trucker, Construction and Agricultural Machineries and Heavy Duty Machineries to local market.
